How to Lose a Fortune Betting on Sports

July 29th, 2010 Filed under: Gambling Tips — Gambling Guide Author

I have heard that about 98 percent of all the people who bet regularly on sports lose money. I would suspect that some of them lose a lot of money. I know of at least two major athletes that have admitted to losing millions of dollars gambling. I’m sure that wasn’t all playing blackjack.

Those who lose really don’t know why they lose. If they did, they would know how to win too. Hopefully, if you understand why you lose you can do something about it.

One of the best and quickest ways to lose a lot of money is to get one of those 97% scams. For some reason, their sales page doesn’t mention that they use progressive betting to achieve those results. Or that you can get 88% just by flipping a coin using their betting progression. I guess if they clued you into that you wouldn’t want to buy it in the first place.

Another good way to lose money is to handicap each game separately. Using that method you can start from square one on every single bet. You never have to worry about learning from experience or the hassle of having books send your winning payments.

Another good way to lose a lot of money is to make a big bet on a certain game. That way you can wipe out a whole bankroll in one swoop, or leave it so depleted you can’t bet enough to recover. It saves you a lot of time counting up the winning from a whole bunch of well placed smaller bets.

But the real secret to losing a fortune betting on sports is to combine all three of the above features into your betting and call it a strategy. You can break a lot of bankrolls in a single season and have the fun of making new deposits in your book accounts.

Or you can do something different.

DIY Sports Betting will show you how.
